Ezulwini, the siSwati word for â€œheavenâ€ which best describes one of Swaziland`s best kept valleys located within the jurisdiction of the Ezulwini Municipality in the Hhohho Region of the Kingdom of Swaziland. Ezulwini was declared a town in November 1995 as a result of the increased number of residents and businesses located within the town.
Ezulwini has an estimated 540 homesteads housing approximately 1500 people.
Ezulwini thrives on tourism as it boosts of being the tourism hub of Swaziland. There is a wide range of businesses that support the tourism industry starting form back packers, homely B &Bs, self catering facilities, guest houses to five star hotels.
For many years Ezulwini was known as the drive though town as the Old Mbabane Manzini Road ran through the town only offering access between the two major cities Mbabane and Manzini and the industrial town Matsapha. With the construction of the Mbabane- Manzini Highway many thought that Ezulwini would become a forgotten town but with the current economical and political developments, Ezulwini has become Swaziland`s town of choice with developments in business and entertainment.
